in all seriousness, you should be able to play most styles with short fingers. hell, even little girls can play les claypool these days .

The one im having is-Ibanez btb 705 dx. I used to have 4 more but I sold them all. Short fingers are really struggling on lower notes especially when playing chords. Also I had to move my whole HAND to reach other notes,whereas some people just move their fingers.
I don’t think you’ll find another bass player with short fingers ~.~

haha. you make it sound like you have the hands of a baby. there are some great players who have small hands. victor wooten looks like he has short fingers, eventhough they look like tree trunks. carol kaye probably has small hands as well.

guitar and sax. i also have a slight disadvantage with my guitar playing where my slightly disabled left wrist prevents me from playing it right handed. also cant do cool strumming shit like flamenco and strump slaps.

^ other bass players fingers looks like 3cm longer than mine XD even victor’s fingers are much more longer than mine.

I used to own an electric guitar also, it was also an Ibanez, I didn’t have it for long before I sold it.RG 652 fx. I couldn’t to play it clean.couldnt mute the string properly.
