Asian inspired media content :)

Hi All,

I've put together a small list of some of my fav media content from/with inspiring Asian personalities that i have watched/researched over the years, just in case you are in some sort of viewing rut! (These are just the ones that come to my mind at the moment! I've left off obvious ones like Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. )

met a french girl a few years back who talked about luke nguyen. was surprised at that time as i thought he was still under the local radar. didnt know he had become such an international icon.

Yeah, he's garnished alot more recognition lately. He's done a few food travel shows and still runs the Red Lantern. He's got a pretty inspirational story.

I just hopped on the Asian media entertainment train, and have pretty much gotten stuck in China So let's see....

Aside from "Kingdom of War I & II," which was on Amazon streaming...I've been addicted to Youtube series'.

So far, I've watched:

"The Longest Day in Chang'an" (Chinese version of U.S.'s "24"....this is a badass series)
"Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy" (Got me addicted to Shawn Dou...and it's another badass series)

Right now, I'm binge watching:

"Princess Agents" (Again, Shawn Dou..!!! Weird title, because it has nothing to do with the plot. But this series is awesome)
"Novoland: Eagle Flag" (Similar to T&E, same setting, but different story)
"Ming Dynasty," (Zhu Yawen is just....WOW. Great actor and I'd date him in a heartbeat)
"Cao Cao" (series based on real-life Chinese warlord)

So yeah....that's what I'm on and I'm sooooo in love with Chinese series'. I don't know how Asia does it, but they do storytelling in such an intense, yet subtle way. It's an emotional rollercoaster.
