WHO LIKES VIETNAMESE MUSIC?

I noticed something, the Vietnamese covered Chinese songs while Chinese covered the jap/Korean songs

this is one of them, and there are a lot more. Not just songs, there were also Korean dramas that they made A Chinese version. And honestly I don’t like their choices of songs, I didn’t even like those original songs. Something like this would be fine, the artist jay chow has a far more superior music background. He is best known making traditional and pop music combined which heavily represents Asia

a lot of canto songs from the 80s-90s are covers of japanese songs like bennys example. actually i think even a lot of the older ones as well.

Vietnamese music has always been two main types. The really old school one that's pack with deep meaning but boring instruments. The other is Chinese translated to Vietnamese which are decent.
