Manga:
Gantz - This manga is (NSFW) dark and extremely intense, it blew my mind.
Hajime no Ippo - Great characters and bc I'm a massive boxing fan
Deathnote - Amazing plot twists.

Anime:
Naruto & Hajime no Ippo - Both have great character development and story with many heartwarming and heart-wrenching moments.
