OK... The film is beautiful to look at. But it's not a good adaptation of the book. And I hate the soundtrack. Radiohead guitarist, Johnny Greenwood has created a dischordant orchestral noise. Which for me clashes with much of what is going on onscreen. It just didn't fit. Murakami practically wrote the soundtrack into the book. I guess they couldn't access (or afford) the music rights.
I am glad they used some music by Can though.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 4
It was amazing except the mermaids kinda scared me off from ever wanting to watch "The Little Mermaid" again, lol.

sorta kinda....when I wasnt trying to get a 2 yr old to sit still...had to leave early... I wanted to see how she would behave....big mistake... she watched the show for like 10 minutes...then she wanted to run around, go potty, run around more,, switch seats, and then about 10-20 minutes before the movie ended..she wanted to go home.

I told her she isnt allowed to go the the movies again till she is 15.

no no..wait... 50! if she is like me at 15..she will throw her popcorn up in the air, at the screen, get up and dance around to the music in the movie......and if she has friends with her.... god help everyone...

This movie proves....that asian men...especially asian men that can do martial arts....have 76,000 gallons of blood in their bodies.
