It's a fact: Some actors in the show look totally different than their characters (see Gwendoline Christie <=> Brienne ) , credit goes to make-up artists.

As for the mother of Dragons, - Question to guys: -
Don't you think Emilia Clarke looks even hotter then Daenerys ? :woohoo: B)

Fantastic season premiere. Some scenes are actually better than the book (such as Tyrion & Tywin scene).

My only complaint is that HBO cut out the white walker battle at the start.

Found it quite boring actually. It was just a synopsis of what happen last season and where they stand in between. The one good battle they had in the book which was major and very interesting was blacked out...

I would say yes. They have to change a few things, cut bits out or merge some events/characters but the general feel of the books is spot on. Because they have to be creative about adapting it, some things actually turn out better.

It's a great adaptation and a great TV series. I would say that you can enjoy both whether you started on the TV show first or the books.
