Game of Thrones

Okay so I've been hearing a lot about this show and my friends have recommended me to watch this show but the thing is I'm very confused started researching about the characters and story (because it's a habit of mine doing that) so Daenery father was the 'Mad King' and what is she trying to do? Sorry it's very confusing

I don't know what to watch when this season ends, does anyone know any good shows? I'm just going to watch "Naked and Afraid" for now unless there's a better show There's just something fascinating about 2 butt naked people trying to survive the wild against all odds while complaining about food, ants, sun burns, diarrhea, each other, or monkeys stealing their food when they're asleep. I'm surprised no one has complained about sexual harassment yet

Well, the show is about the quest for power in a Middle-Age inspired fantasy world.

At the begining of the story, Daenerys Targaryen & her older brother Viserys are the only living members of the former ruling Dynasty. Their father was known as the Mad King. But now, they're basically nobodies, hardly above beggars. And they're trying hard to be somebodies again. Especially Viserys, who is ready to sell his shy sister to gain an army to reconquer the throne.
The current ruling king is Robert Baratheon, who overthrew the Mad King. He comes to the North to ask his long time friend Lord Eddard (Ned) Stark to be his new "Hand" (Prime Minister).
But little does Lord Stark knows about all the plots going on in the capital...

My advice : ask your friends to let you watch the first episode... You may get totally addicted.
I binge-watched the whole first season within a couple of days (& nights).
