Well if you had to choose between making music you loved more, but struggling to pay the rent for your scummy flat every week and playing out to audiences of 5-10 people in some backwater venues...

Or compromising by making more mainstream music, having millions of fans and 90 million dollars?

I'm guessing most artists would 'sell out' if they had they the chance of that kind of success.

I know it is not fair to expect music to stay the same and not evolve with each generation but... lil wayne..really.

Ugh, I shudder everytime I hear the atrocity of Rihanna on Capital FM. She's hot and all, but her music? Meh.

Does the ability of appreciating music evolve with age? For example I used to be a huge fun of Jay Chou( a taiwanese singer) and now his songs are not that attractive to me? I guess if i was like 13 or 14 I'd be a huge fun of Biber too, too sad I'm 24 already and get more and more involved with classical music.

Skrillex, Coldplay, Lady GaGa, Any and all of the X factor/Idol clones... Oh and let's not forget Lil Wayne.
