World's largest and longest 3D street painting is unveiled on a Chinese university campus

A famous Chinese artist has created the world's largest and longest 3D street painting, in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, China.

The artwork, which is named Rhythms of Youth, occupies an area of 2737.5 square metres and was created as a gift to the upcoming 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games.

Its creator, Yang Yongchun, said: 'It took my team more than 20 days to finish the painting on the ground.
'Every day, we worked on it from daybreak when we could barely tell the colors apart until it turned too dark to see anything.'
The work has set two new Guinness World Records, one for the largest, and the other for the longest street painting in the world.
