Never. As long as you wanna impart knowledge, art or an understanding, then it is not about you anymore, it is about ideas. Just as if you realize that somewhere inside the theater is a fire starting to erupt and everybody else is oblivious about it, you wouldn't be shy or be afraid to yell and warn those who are inside that there is a fire would you? I am sure not since you as a person is no longer relevant, the message is, a message that could very well save the lives of everybody within the vicinity. Those who are afraid to speak in public I am sure are just too self-centered, insecure, and cares how he or she is perceived, rather than what he or she has to impart which is the sole purpose of public speaking.
