Confirmed fake profiles on Hey-Ai

some people are just so bored they make fake profiles to do anything
1 ex member on here even used pics of a deceased girl and pretended it was her pictures...

i hate it when people do that, it's just utter stupidity and totally pointless. i like to trust people not, not look at profiles with a shadow of paranoia creeping up at me everytime i wanna make a worthwhile connection!

besides, i want to be liked for me and who i am, not cockblock myself with the idendity of some photoshopped picture of another dude. talk about self sabotarge!

I RL friend of mine that I used to play wow with pretended he was a girl for months before they found out. And that was only because we were at a Lan together and he didnt realise the voice program we use to communicate with each other was on automatic, meaning everything he was saying in RL came out to the rest of the people listening. Lets just say they were a bit confused by his husky voice!

However during the time when his facade was working, guys were giving him so many free things such as items, gold and even leveling characters for him.

Moral of the story? Don't trust anything on the interwebs till you have hard proof

It's not that difficult to spot a fake account. Usually they use a photo with amazing lighting and they only have 1 photo which is their display pic. Or it could be that they're a model and the photos are genuine. Just takes a bit of common sense really

oh yeah fake people and profiles always been an issue everywhere, I bet there are a bunch on here as well. As for me I'm far from naive, I don't buy stories easily either; You meet so many people on the net, I only really talk more to them after Ive seen them on webcam or skyped with them.. besides that's much more fun, when you actually see someone live and interact.
