Curious about ze males

But Ive been curious as to why some guys seem to ignore facts such as 'they aren't able to get the girl/ they are too old/ they aren't the right race' etc

eg:

guy: hi
me: hey whatsup
guy: I like you
me: sorry..im not interested
guy: i need to see you
me: um no sorry im not interested
guy: why not? Im a great guy
me: I have a bf
guy: so? i am better anyway

or another example: I joined another dating site (out of boredom) and put in the details in my description clearly that 'I only date asian guys" and also edited my preference to asian guys only etc etc....after this I had many white guys sending me unwanted pms or saying stuff like...'hey I like you'...I became so annoyed that I deleted my account.

Im curious to know why guys even go there with some girls when they know that they dont fit the criteria or the girl isn't interested in them...do they believe persistence is the key? are some girls the same? am I the same?

Evolutionary psychology holds that men are more blunt and forward because the more they try hitting on girls, the more likely they spread their genes. Well, I think this sort of explanation might just be a petty excuse for some men's idiotic behavior.

there are plenty of guys out there that are so conceited that they feel they can change your preference on anything lol

It's like the excuse I've gotten from a guy:

"we are driven this way by instinct, you cannot blame us for being like this"

basically excusing animistic behavior in an apparently civilized world.........I think a level of self-restraint and discipline is something considered respectable and admirable.....making excuses for being otherwise is pathetic.

That is like a girl saying "I was born with curves, so I am supposed to show them off every chance I get, especially so it does it's purpose....not my fault if every guy wants that..gotta spread my genes so all the girls are as pretty as I am".

In a world where we are clearly populated, primal traits are not exactly required to survive.....rather they are there to test how strong we are against them, no? I mean.....is not rage and gluttony on the same scale?...........like, being a man doesn't mean you should eat the house out of food...

besides just that.....some animal species are way more loyal than mankind is to their partners and families....like the Eagle...so I really hate to think of animals and ill-behaviour in the same pod here...

well I tend to get some drug-abuser being all like "I think the statistics are wrong, and that we have a shot together".

Of course, "born this way" description is meant to explain only why people are prone to act in certain ways, but not that they should always act that way. Well, for example, there is evolutionary reason why men are more violent. That doesn't mean that it is okay for men to be violent.
And by the same token, being insensitive may now be considered maladaptive, because the same strategy ain't working in the 21st century. Therefore, you girls should just keep ignoring those pathetic men, so that they won't be able to produce offspring that carries the same genes down the road.
