A lot of girls seem to come here expecting to meet men who are strongly connected to their culture, but I would guess that a lot of us aren't. I'm curious to see where the other guys stand.

It ranges from deep issues to the superficial. For example, I think I'm a lot more forward and probably less polite than the average Korean guy. But then there are deeper issues like how family members should interact with one another -- Confucian notions such as subservience to elders, etc.

I think many guys here who were born and raised in western countries still keep part of their aisan culture in their life, especially those whose parents moved from asian countries. Woman may prefer a mostly westernized guys but something different from white guys.

I would say half and half. For example, I feel uneasy when walking in my friend house with my shoes on even though he told me it's ok to wear it haha

I'd have to say neither. I just like both. I'm open to all kinds of culture. Though i'm more "western" growing up here California. :P Dont think that makes lesser than any asian out there. lol

I believe each one of us is unique and we should stay away from stereotypes.
