Half Asian Half White, Genrally look Prittier ?

if theres a discussion on mixed race, two most common stereotypes are...

1) "look at all these pretty mixed race celebs, therefore all mixed race must be prettier."
2) "look at all these successful mixed race celebs, therefore all mixed race must be higher achievers."

Mixed race are stereotyped as an 'exotic' specimen, because of their low numbers and unusual look, they get judged on their looks more than full blood's. I feel sorry for the ones who dont live upto the pretty stereotype, even more so for those who dont look asian enough for asians and dont look white enough for whites. Once the numbers increase though, they'll no longer be considered special or exotic, thats the irony of it. I'll give you an example, the other day in an borough of London, I saw so many mixed race kids, it was like living in a different country, these mixed race kids are highly concentrated in the same areas because the rest of the Uk isnt that open-minded. If you live in such areas of high ethnic and mixed race concentration, its amazing how your brain switches off from seeing these multi-cultural kids as special, rather white kids who are full blood become much prettier.

If you ask the same question to black/white website, they will argue black/white mixed are prettiest of all the mixed race, although in my biased opinion (being oriental) they are the ugliest. ask the same question to a white/arab site and they will argue they are the prettiest, ask the question to the asian/white site... etc etc

Comparatively, try putting up hot pics of full blood white and full asian celebs and you'll see that the mixed race celebs are neither more nor less prettier. If you go through all the mixed race members on this site (theres quite a few of them), you can rank them from butt ugly to very hot just as you can with full asians and full whites on this site. I'm not suggesting you do that, I'm just making a point. A better example is that photo that jake posted of the british chinese male/white female couple that had 10 offspring, they all look different and dont look like siblings, some are pretty, some are ugly, some average, some look asian, some look western, some look half, some look dark, some look pale, hair colours are all different. Its random as nature intended.

I totally agree with that. It seems interesting though why some places have higher concentration of mixes and other less, even though its pretty much globalized now.

I used to have a theory that in order to overcome all the cultural barriers, there had to be a lot of physical attraction between an Asian person and a Caucasian person for them to marry, i.e. they have to be really hot. But I know better now.

so what's the secret? xD

i'm biased, i think that half asians are definitly prettier

but i have 2 brothers, and one looks really asian & the other looks really white. and for some people i vary on how i look. sometimes i'm more asian, more white or just half. lol

but i don't want people thinking that mixed people are the prettiest, because i think that eventually the majority of people will be mixed with all kinds of different ethnicities, & i think that's the prettiest. Not neccessarily physically, but if globally people let go of biases & prejudices, we'd all be like "related" somehow. haha.

My mom is Half Korean/Half Russian and my Dad is 100% Korean. I basically look a Korean guy with really pale skin. I was born with light brown hair, and grayish eyes, but later turned to Raven Dark hair and Light brown eyes.

This is probably strange and maybe i'm weird in the head because I grew up speaking Korean first, Russian 2nd and later English but over the years, I discovered i'm attracted to women that remind me of my mother in features and personality. Black hair and gray eyes (Half Asian) but with a 100% Korean mentality. Pretty hard to find. Because even someone like me with the same background is hard to find.

So I generally pursue girls that are Asian or have an Asian feel/style to them. Mostly Fob Korean girls because I feel at ease with them a lot more then others, But half Asian girls catch my eye often because I hardly see them. I flip out if I find out they are half Korean. But sometimes lose interest once I find out they know nothing of their culture or language. This doesn't mean i'm automatically not attracted to girls that aren't Korean ethnically, Half or culturally. Because I do occasionally chase white girls. Usually Polish or Russian. Personally don't have a preference for American Girls. Culturally I think i'm too different to match them.

So I can say I don't really have a strong preference for pure, half, etc girls. There's just certain features/looks/personalities/backgrounds that i'm attracted to. Peaking brows, high cheekbones, Round face, Square Jaw, Korean culture is a +. They Could be Asian, Half or Caucasian.

Aside from that, 100% of mixed people aren't all attractive. Otherwise people of pure ancestry can't be more attractive than mixed descent people because they aren't mixed. It's a false premise/statement. People of mixed descent tend to appeal to both sides due to familiar features, which is why the favoritism is skewed.

Also, mixing is really a lottery. My uncle who is also Half Korean married a A Lithuanian girl. and had 2 kids. The son came out with blonde hair and grayish eyes, no trace of Korean in him and the Daughter came out looking really Asian with light brown hair and light brown eyes. Who knows what they might change into as they get older.
