I have a new puppy and I need suggestions was created by Abbiepup
We got a new puppy yesterday, she is a little over 1 year old, she is a black lab mix, we got her from the shelter where they named her 'Sissy' I am looking for suggestions for different names for her. Sissy just doesn't fit her

If you can't see the pics. well let me know, I am new at this

Do you want the new name to start with an 'S' so so its an easier transition for the dog?

You can either go with regular human names like Sara or Sandra or you can go with an unusal name like Star or Spirit.

if the name is short, monosylabic, it's easier for the dog to assimilate.

all of these suggestions are quite bad. Give dogs names that you can't name a human. A funny name, unique name... but when you start giving dogs the same name as you give humans... that's like....ewww o.O
