Recent developments in technologies is making it possible for people to live longer then previously known.
The are many different methods, but one of them is called 'telomere elongation'.

This is a interessting read from the Guardian on the reversing of aging in mice.

Hmmm... seems no one is interessted in subjects like Life Extension...

I think I read something similar a while back. They found that the "old" mice were similarly active compared to younger mice.

Anything to improve the quality of life for those older generations. I don't think there's any better gift to give.

People have been looking into this since telomeres were discovered. Like the strands of life that the three fates spun measured and cut.
