fck it go full mohawk; i personally hate faux hawks man lol i had a red mohawk (then blue... then purple) for a few years and i used to shave em in every summer for the heat. my mohawks were usually between 5-10 inches long. wait til you get a nice solid like 6-7 inches, easiest to style and take care of at that point. i personally used to use a razor blade to get a cut that's super close to the skin. lol my drivers license and my hong kong id have pics of me in various lengths of mohawks and now i've let my hair grow long i always get shit in bars and stuff when they id me lol

this is a very good video on how to do one. Key is you have to use hair wax, no crap like gel or mouuse

but I have thick hair lol... I read somewhere that wax won't be able to hold thick hair as good as gel
