Anybody else a cosplayer?

@swirly: Cosplay doesn't have a weight limit; remember that. I need to lose weight, but I still cosplay (and I will continue to try to lose weight while I do cosplay!). And I'm certainly not going to let people tell me I can't cosplay because I don't have the perfect body or weight! As long as you are comfortable and having fun, that's all that matters =) I understand the money issue lol cosplay is pretty expensive...But if you try to spread it out a bit it does help. I don't have a job either, so it's difficult...

I used to be a cosplayer but it's a bit expensive depending on the cosplay you choose, so I left it. But I'm willing to start cosplaying again >.< I love a lot of videogames' characters

im from sydney and i love cosplay! xD so far i have cosplayed haku from naruto in london expo and this year i plan to go as Mizukage ^_^

Ive always been a fan of cosplay^^ but I really dont have the money( but I would really love to be mousse from ranama 1/2 ^^! he's so funny and I pretty much have his personality and it would be fun to walk up to a random mailbox and say Shampoo is that you my darling? XD lol .... but Ive noticed the newer a anime or character is the higher the costume is o.o but Ranama 1/2 has been out a long time so the costumes are lot less. hope my tip helps^^

and some people pretty much make their own accessories and etc to their cosplay( the tip: most of that stuff is home made ;D )!!!!!

@amai: I know...I have so many characters I want to cosplay, and new ones keep coming out I want to do...And there's only so many cons in a year in Australia (and I only have so much money haha).

@kawaii: Ah cool. I love Naruto; I'll probably get around to cosplaying some characters out of it one day...Though I will probably want to do a male like Kakashi since I find most of the females annoying lol.

@ircha: I can't say I am a fan of VK, well, I was until the incest bit. Then I stopped watched. I know he isn't really her brother and stuff...But still. I made more sense for her to end up with Zero I think; but whatever (I read she goes off with her 'brother'). I often see a lot of people cosplaying Yuuki or others; or just wearing the uniforms. Chii and Lucy would be cool. I don't see a lot of Lucy's though (if you mean Lucy from Elfin Lied).

@Selaka: Yeah, most people tend to do current or very popular anime/video game characters; but sometimes you see older characters like Ranama pop up. I haven't actually watched Ranama 1/2 myself; I know the gist of it though lol. I made my cosplay in my picture, I am Lulu from Final Fantasy X. The other I cosplay is Seras Victoria from Hellsing Ultimate - I originally bought her costume though, but I have modified it to be more accurate and I am considering making a new one after my next con because it is too tight on my chest.

aww im also a cosplayer since 2 years now... since now i bought costumes from other cosplayer or do some cosplays with clothes i dont need to sew ^^
but in the next time i will do lots of costumes sewing on my own
