Akihabara - have you been there?

Akihabara - have you been there?
Also known as Akiba. It's in Tokyo, Japan and yes lots of 'Otaku' likes to visit there.
Just a random question...does anyone live in or have they visited Akihabara? ..if so whats it like?

Akihabara is awesome! There's tons to do there, especially if you are otaku.

When I went there my girls and I went to a maid cafe! That was pretty fun, we were the only chicks there - the rest were all old dudes. But it was definitely a great experience!

We also wandered around and you'll be amazed by all the anime/otaku type paraphernalia! It's great.
There's also tons of electronic stores, so if you're into cheap electronics and spare parts, you can find em cheap in Akiba.

As a girl who loves to party and isn't much of an otaku, Roppongi, Shibuya, and Shinjuku were more fun for me. But if you are otaku, then Akihabara is like a dream come true! There are many game centers and manga kissa too.
