Those examples sound soo charming...just my type of guy

I would not go out with just a tall guy, handsome or with a lot of money, would come out because of his personality, attitude, optimism, similarities, knowledge, trust, respect, sincerity and his contagious joy..
For my part when dating someone racist I would be tolerant and neutral in their observations experiences or criticisms up to a certain limit..
And if he continues arrogant, xenophobic, lascivious towards other people of other cultures.. I would show him that nobody is perfect or superior, that we all have shortcomings, virtues, rights, equalities and that we deserve respect and we should be grateful to live every day in freedom for a better future..
That's a very noble approach of you. I've found in my own experiences that many people who are racist have partly become so as a product of their own experiences. Much of it seems to stem from ignorance to some degree and often becomes reinforced by their limited experience with other races. Their own encounters (or encounters their friends/families/acquaintances) with other races normally is used to reassure their beliefs, and often it's enough for many to avoid interacting with them again. The problem often boils down to a lack of diversity in encounters. Say someone is racist towards a certain race, and all their encounters have been within a particularly bad neighborhood....then this someone may begin to think "well x race are all so and so because last time I came across them...". Anyways my point is:
The more a person begins engaging conversations with people of other races, the quicker racism begins to dwindle. Travel, which entails more diversity in encounters, and engaging in mature conversation is probably one of the best antidotes to racism imo. People begin to see that although there are many differences between races/cultures, there are also many universal traits that is shared among everyone that are essential humanity. I do think that most racists have the potential to realize this over time and with the right person helping them along the way.
