It is very neccessary to restart media censorship in tough situation, those bullshit from media already scared many people to death.
that is how they break our immunity system.

Also, it takes time for the virus to accumulate enough DNA changes to successfully mutate themselves, in addition to the time required for the natural selection of positive traits.
This wasn't something I wanted to be right about.....

"The Ebola virus sweeping through West Africa has mutated repeatedly during the current outbreak, a fact that could hinder diagnosis and treatment of the devastating disease, according to scientists who have genetically sequenced the virus in scores of victims.
The findings, published Thursday in the journal Science, also offer new insights into the origins of the largest and most deadly Ebola outbreak in history, which has killed more than 1,500 people in four countries and shows few signs of slowing. It also provided another reminder of the deep toll the outbreak has taken on health workers and others in the affected areas, as five of the paper’s more than 50 co-authors died from Ebola before publication."
WHO says EBOLA could infect 20,000 or more...(This number is actually rather small if you consider they have quarantined an entire "slum" with no running water/sanitation and filled with an estimated 50,000-75,000 people)

Finally, Quarantines exists for a reason. The following link was sent to me by a friend who works in medical research, along with a WTF?....Apparently reporters can "break" quarantine, walk around WITHOUT any kind of protective gear and even visit the EBOLA treatment center in the West Point slum, then leave. (Hmm...the point of quarantine is......anyone?) The hubris of this is mind boggling. I spent Thursday lecturing on how Cordon sanitaire's were used during the middle ages, then I showed this video. (If you were wondering the reporter is from CNN and based out of the UK)

Will clusters appear in the US? More than likely, that's just how an epidemic works in an era of expansive globalization. However I do believe modern medicine (particularly IV fluids/Electrolyte supplements) and enforced quarantines will prevent any kind of mass pandemic (I hope), but this is something that needs to be on everyone's radar. The financial impact it is currently having on Africa could very well spread to the world market, particularly if/when cases are announced on other continents and/or in more developed countries.

Thanks for showing me the evidence to support your mutation theory.
I took a brief look at the actual study and it seems to be very convincing. However, according the authors:
- These mutations occur in every Ebola outbreak, not just the current epidemic, even though it is happening at a faster rate than usual
- "Our data do not address whether these differences are related to the severity of the outbreak"
Most mutations result in minor phenotype changes, some result in no phenotype changes, and some result in actual biological modifications that may affect the spread of the virus.
Unless you can show me that the last scenario has taken place, there is still no cause for concern.
I have many more illnesses to deal with.
