People say they want to hear the truth, but when the truth is not nice or sugar coated people get defensive. I am tired of sugar coating, just so that someone feels good about themselves or something we are talking about.

If you can't take criticism, don't ask for the truth, it might not be your cup of tea. Ask for half truth, or sugar coated one.

They say people who cannot take criticism aren't good leaders, criticism is there to improve.

What kind of question is that? Could be that U.S. is one of the largest countries that speaks English, and also with relatively large amount of Asian population, so by statistics there are a good amount of Asian guys from the U.S. here.
