have you guys ever had "clairvoyant" moments in your life? or moments where you can tell you're being prepared for something even if you don't know what all it entails or why?

It's not that bad when philosophers, critical theorists or secondary scholars who specializes on philosophy and/or critical theory rely on using classical Greek terms to maintain closer meaning of words from classical Greek writers. Or doing the same with classical Chinese terms for the same purposes from classical Chinese literature or philosophy. But it's something else when an English speaking scholar who specializes on modern history of Japanese labor movement, does this. I'm sure constantly using terms like "Shakai Minjuto," rather than "Social Democratic Party," or terms like "Shaminkei," rather than "Social Democratic scene," will help him maintain "purity" of the original term where translating them into English will loses it's original meanings - even though those Japanese terms were actually translated version of terms that was actually originated from the West. Funny though he does maintain the English word "Japanese Communist Party," rather than braggingly uses the original Japanese term.
