However, I'm not interested in the other discussion about Andrew Yang and theoretical fuzzy numbers that all politicians promise to get (s)elected. For the 'Muricans, anybody after Trump who provides another set of mirage to combat the fundamental issue of loss of manufacturing jobs due to "globalization" and robotics automation seem enticing for any candidate to base a platform on.
As a STEM person, I'm more interested in the current ongoing ACTUAL social experiments in different countries and the ACTUAL results instead of mental masturbation hypotheticals for media click-bait advertising dollars.
The most interesting recent data is from Finland, but there are other good articles during my readings this past week.

But let's face it, these are unsustainable economic models unless they can transition into high tech economies and/or tax shelters like Switzerland and Monaco and the Cayman Islands. lol

The one factor that I've not heard about UBI's implementation is "spending requirements." I totally am down with spending the money however I want, but whats to prevent governments from me taking that money and go live in a less developed country?
$1,000/month goes a long way in other countries and right now there are tens of thousands of retirees in Costa Rica. But that's insignificant compared to droves of people emigrating to go live in developing countries.
For this reason alone, I doubt the industrialized advanced economies would ever give out UBI.

I know several "friends" up the road, which I actually do honestly avoid.
They have been looking for work for years
yet the system (Invalidity Insurance Organization) tells them they are incompetent to do actual work.
They get free money from the Swiss social security.
They spend it on cigarettes and beer most of the time, food, vacation, rent and insurance.
By looking at them, it encourages laziness and sometimes depression.
The medication, which they is given to them, supports pharmacies, doctors and hospitals
in makes a living from their existence.
It's strange to see that years fly by and you can see the medication is getting to them
and they are not the same people as I knew them before transformed from a lively human to a walking shell.
I know of two of these several "friends" that benefited from "free" money;
one of them that traveled to Africa to marry an African because Swiss and other picky women thought he was a loser.
While the other one, he stayed in Chile for several months to enjoy the comforts of being human away from the actual fake cake society we live in.
If you look at it from non-dualism, free money gives value to victims to a system of dependence,
and independence of finding the qualities of being human. Stories of both human experiences are linked.
Though I feel the UBI concept is great on paper, yet around two years ago, Switzerland voted "no" twice to UBI.
The rich need their poor to be poor, for the rich to exist.
Yet the poor need the rich, to make sure the rich believe in the illusion that they are "rich"
for both to turn the wheel of Samsara.
Yet my question is,
Do you want to play in life the role of an adult
and have the government to spoon feed you as a baby at the same time?

To be fair, the real question the majority of us should ask is: Do you want to play in life the role of a slave to feed, clothe and bath your baby government slave masters,? Individuals like Donald Trump who would spend his whole days playing golf, executive time meditating about what stupid tweets to misspell out next while sitting his fat butt on the toilet? These individuals are the presumably "over achievers" who are honored and valued most by our society by providing them with free executive breakfasts, lunches and dinners, free health care to treat the "bone spurs", so that other slaves can go to Vietnam to rape foreign land and foreigners, while they can safely stay home play the games of "grabbing 'em by the p*ssies" and claiming the titles of the hardest working human beings on earth etc. Meanwhile, they would make you do the real work or blame you for being lazy and not wanting to work if you can not find work that fits you.

Good point, $1000 can last a long time in some third world country, if it was doable. Then a lot of Americans will be going oversea to enjoy life and there will be lacking workers. The world needs the poor to work and keep going.

The world does NOT "need the poor to work and keep going". The filthy rich lying 1% slave onwers need everyone else, but themselves to work. They need the retarded slaves to believe that the slave owners are working their fat asses off to deserve robbing everyone else' money.
