I was in a corporate sales role in the early 2000's when this PUA stuff started picking up after "The Game" was published.

I always thought it was gimmicky marketing, typical sales techniques adjusted to "picking up", it's obviously found a niche in the world so there's elements of practicality guys can take from, however for 95%... SCAM! lol

I've always suggested, guys are better off reading and absorbing sales orientated books if they're looking for methodologies/techniques and guidelines to essentially be social. Or pick up a social hobby (which helped me greatly) like magic eg card , coin tricks etc 50% of performing magic is all in patter/delivery.
