Everyone is emotional on some level, however depends on each Filipinos be or not more sensitive than most others, generally speaking. If a conversation or situation appears to be headed towards conflict, both parties disengage not wanting to offend the other. I have met some people that are charming, happy and delightful I have ever had the pleasure to be meet. There seems to be a sense of satisfaction they have in spite of many having virtually nothing (compared to Western standards). I've also met pessimistic, hostile and negative people, if those people feel this way, it's their problem . They are warm in welcoming and in introductions to interact in having friends, meaningful relationships, negotiations.
I know that there are exceptions to what I have just said, but overall, we would all do well to take a lesson from few friends.
I would like to know what "hugot" means, I don't know if it is a sarcastic way of expressing feelings towards someone or something or if it is used by broken hearted.
