Anyone do film, arts, music, vlogs???

Anyone ever do a vlog before? Thinking about starting a vlog if anyone is interested in watching. It's mostly gonna be ranting and some helpful tips for certain hobbies.

I am hoping to do a few of those things - but to make a living out of it and to spread the word about a different way to live.
I am really struggling with a;ll f the things I need to learn:video, building a PC for video editing, how business works, etc. To make it all 100X shittier, I ruin a flash drive with 15 years of ideas- mostly VERY well-researched topics that I edited, highlighted, ...I had the mack-daddy filing system...yet failed to properly backup. It felt like being hit by a semi-truck.Bye-bye, dream-business.
I go back and forth between giving up and trying again.
My ideas aren't concrete, but I am telling myself I am being 'open' to new ideas. I am beginning to brainstorm about selling products, too...but, at heart, I am more interested in ideas. My MBTI personality type is "philosopher"....so I think it logical to go with my true nature. I don't want to go into too much detail. I'd like to keep social/play separate from business.
What are you doing or thinking of doing?

I just recieved my degree in film and digital media! I have been working part time as a production assistant on feature films which range from $150-200 a day. As well as camera operator gigs for various things which I make $350 a day doing. It's not exactly a steady cashflow but it depends on how motivated people are to find work

I'll have my BFA in painting /philosophy in may. I play in the symphony. I will get masters but I am taking a break for a while. I do a lot of different types of things as an artist, so I have a lot of experience!
I love art and music, I am a musician when I first started college in graphics illustration and game design, and composing/musician. Too much

No, I hear you. You're absolutely right about the motivation and cash flow lol... one of my buddies quit his job to be a photographer a while ago and makes decent money, but he is quite motivated and is well established when it comes to clientele. I'm doing it for a hobby and to educate people and can care less about the money. I felt like if I did it for a living, I wouldn't enjoy it as much lol.

Nothing serious, just messing around to see how far I can go. I got a lot of hobbies and thought I'd film them and educate people how to be more efficient at doing some of them. While I wouldn't consider myself an expert of them by any means, if anything I'd consider myself a dangerous noobie, I do like to try to the best of my ability on certain things. I was thinking somewhere on the line of maybe starting a youtube channel and seeing where it goes. I do want to make my own intro videos and create my own intro songs and parodies of popular songs. When it comes to creativity my brains off the chain because I probably have undiagnosed ADHD lol... White folks go to the doctor and mostly drug their kids with meds. Asian folks just smack their kids and ask them, "Why you so dumb?" "Why you no get the "A" prus in scwhool?" Of course, being an adult now, I'm more conscious of my situation and able to hone my focus a lot better and even hyper focus sometimes...

That's awesome! You know? I always told myself told myself that I would do film/art/music if I wasn't pursuing my current career. It was either that or RND Engineering, but those guys get pooped on, are extremely under appreciated, and I feel are underpaid as well. I'm glad that you enjoy what you do. I'm still in search of what I like doing lmao...

I was hopping to do some video with amwf content.Mostly just talk about different cultures and how to understand people from different backgrounds.but not sure where to begin. There there few American ladies gone to China for that and 1 of them eventually got noticed and be part of Jackie Chan’s film.

id just do it. you can start anywhere really. do it long enough and youll start focusing on areas that generate more interest. but it might help to decide which hobby you want to focus on now if youre after consistency.
