Truly a sad a d devastating loss too all those involved. Prayers up to the Bryant family and to the families of the other crash victims.
I am a die hard basketball fan and grew up watching Kobe dominate straight from high school. His work ethic was second to none and it showed on the court. He inspired me and millions of others to work hard at work, and even harder at home. Being a father myself, it was amazing to see him grow as a father off the court especially after retirement. His greatest accomplishment was being a father to his 4 daughters.
Celebrities and athletes passing doesn't usually affect me but this felt like it hit close to home since he was one of my hero's growing up.
REST IN PARADISE

this may sound crude, and forgive me if it does, but learning her daughter was part of the accident disheartened me just as much. the daughter who was the only one to walk her dads path, destined to be a top player in the pro arena.

I got to meet this guy in person,i think it was in 2016 at Starbucks,Was a long time ago.It was totally random,He told me he missed home, which was in the US,i actually didnt know who he was until I seen his name written on the cup, theres not that many people in Germany named Kobe,so i kind of knew and asked if that was him,he said yeah, hes taking a break and here in Germany for some months,I think he said he was staying in Düsseldorf or traveled to my city from there,He said that him and some of his other team mates were here...I only met him alone in Germany though, shared with him that im also from the US and so of course I knew his name.. XD I dunno,he couldnt stay long and i dont really watch that much of sports but i still heard enough about him.He is really nice and i was surprised that he was so honest and not so shy about it..Like well known people usually worry about people and paparazi and stuff.Guess he felt at home here kind of..Which is good..Awesome that I ran into him.Sad that he died.We didnt talk long but i never forgot him.. He told me he wanted to see as many cities and places in Germany as possible while he was here,as he had months to do so,he was in my town as well,The town of Bielefeld that supposedly does not exist, lol,i think he said for two weeks and than he was going somewhere else..Hard to believe that just a few years later hes dead.. :( and his daughter..From all i know about him,he is an amazing guy.. Heres a link i found, kinda cool really,i never looked up anything before today on him,I actually found out why he was in Germany.Aside from vacation.I didnt know he was having issues with his knee.He just said he was on vacation...He said his manager also limits his time in public,so i guess a cup of coffee from Starbucks was enough time..I kind of wish i got a photo with him,i didnt want to be a rude annoying type of fan though,im sure he has enough of those..I treated him like a normal person and i think he appreciated that..Wasnt pestering him for an autograph either..I at least have the memory.. pinnaclepainaz.com/kobe-go-germany/
