How you dated someone who is not into interracial dating?

I was dating a white guy once and i guess he didn't listen to word i said in regard to my background because when i mentioned it again and this time he for sure heard that i was black as well he dipped. Said he didn't believe in the mixing of races when i myself am super mixed lol People are weird. The only race problem i had with dating Asian guys was that some didn't approve of my natural curly hair and wanted me to look more white or Asian. Of course i left because i have no reason to be ashamed of my mixed background, but it's sad to see occurrences like that still happening today.

WOW!! I'm glad you got away from those dirtbags!! Someone not approving of your natural beauty and trying to change you is an dumbass. And the guy who didn't believe in mixing of races was a real tool.

Thank you for your kind reply. It is really crazy how much hate comes up with interracial dating. I never really got issues (In regards to dating) about being white or native american, but there almost always seemed to be an issue with being black. Whether it be that i was labeled "exotic" which lead to oversexualization or just straight up discriminated against because i was black there was almost always something. Granted i have met some men that did not care about any of that and of course treated me like any other woman, but people get super weird and "extra" with race, ethnicity, and mixed ethnic background.

That's really sad and infuriating that you had to deal with that. It can boil my blood thinking about that kind of stupidity! AHH!

I really hope that it gets a lot better for you, because you deserved soooohohoooooo much better.
