As far as I know, "clapping cheeks" is a euphemism for having intercourse. If someone invites you to go on a trip with them, then the person usually covers all the costs. It would be rude to invite someone on a trip and expect them to pay for the entire trip. They may want to split the costs. I would ask whether I am supposed to help financially and generally what her expectations are. It depends a lot whether you are just friends or if you are dating.
