I read the article. Thank you for sharing. It is the same everywhere. Those in power are going to seize money.

Our local school district used the local school district's money to pay higher than normal price for land to build on. Then they decided to not use that land to build (5 million dollars) and this is South Carolina! A poor school district. The news shared that the land belonged to a board member's family. It was the board members that approved of the purchase. The public did not get a vote. The local government said that it was not illegal. Today when I went to search for the articles online, I could not find it.
