Is Europe More Open To Asian Men?

I lived in America all my life and as an Asian American male I can say in General society is not very open to us. While it's definitely possible for an Asian male to find a White female or a female of another race, I think in general Asian men are at a dating disadvantage when compared to White, Black, or Hispanic men.

I think the main reason is lack of exposure and the fact we are a small minority here, as well as the fact that for much of history Asia was technologically behind Europe/The West and was subject to Colonialism and Imperialism.

I've lived in many different parts of America and can say in general the higher the Asian population of the Area the more open to dating an Asian guy the women tend to be.

For those of you that have lived in Europe and America(or other parts of the Anglo World) would you say Europe is more open to Asian men? Not just dating wise but socially.

Hello,I appreciate your insights about the dating experiences of Asian men in America. I can relate to some of the challenges you've mentioned.

In Spain, I've observed that Asians born here often face bullying in school, similar to many foreigners who aren't of Caucasian descent. However, as people grow older, these attitudes tend to diminish, and bullying isn't as prevalent, unless it's from outright racists.

On the other hand, I've noticed that many Asians who weren't born in Spain, but have come here to work or for other reasons, often don't socialize much with Spaniards. It seems that they tend to stick to their own communities. I find it puzzling because if you move to a new country to work and live, it would make sense to engage with the local culture and form connections with people from diverse backgrounds.

I believe that as time goes on, these dynamics will change, and cultural integration will become more common. It’s interesting to see how social interactions evolve over time, and I hope that more connections can be made across different cultures.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

i think people forget/not know how scary it is for immigrants to migrate to a foreign country. locals expect them to mingle and integrate into their way of life, but often, arent actively reciprocating the gesture of welcoming them with open arms. the majority do try and mingle with locals. but the ones who don't, i don't see anything wrong with that. you are right though, in that they will be at a disadvantage from the lack of connections needed to progress.
