i like sherbet/sorbet, rocky road because of the tiny marshmallows, ben & jerry's chunky monkey, soft serve, can't forget about the ice cream cones themselves, snow cones, ice cream sandwiches. maybe more. hot fudge sundaes. banana splits. dairy queen had vanilla blizzards with brownies. those were good.

Those are pretty good, but we have strayed from ice cream now

I am more of a milkshake kind of person. I ask them to fill it half vanilla, half chocolate, and mix it together like that. I find just vanilla too plain, and all chocolate way too rich and sweet. So I mix them together. At home I make milkshakes but add heavy whipping cream in it instead of milk. It makes it taste soooooooo much better.
