Girls - can you use chopsticks?

yes, I've been using them since I was 7

My dad was very much into the Japanese culture. He was travelling for martial arts competitions and he was always bringing me collection chopsticks, aside from other presents.

So I learned how to use them. I think the are very comfortable, I also prefer to use the in cooking, rather than using the normal tools.

Oh yeah, last summer I caught 2 mosquitoes with them haha xD thought i should try and it's actually possible lol

I can. If chopsticks are provided at a restaurant or food court I'm at, I'll take the chopsticks because they always come wrapped, where as the plastic cutlery almost never is.

Lol, thanks, I was also really surprised. I thought that sort of stuff only happens in movies. But it turns out that there's a pretty good precision in using chopsticks o.o

Also, I agree with you, chopsticks are always wrapped, in other words, clean and unused. Plus it's a fun change of routine and also, when we eat with chopsticks, we eat slower and in smaller bites. That way we can enjoy the food better and for a longer time , while having a pleasant talk ^^

I have a friend who eats cheesedoodles with chopsticks.... apart from that, she doesn't eat asian food at all. I guess that's the little pleasure she has of ever using them.
I'll use it if I have to, but I kind of suck at it. Rice and pork is easy...noodles are hell.... Everytime I use them, I think "no wonder the asian people are thin - it takes ages to finish a bowl"

Unfortunally I can't use them, and either I'm too stupid or too lazy to learn it...

I can use the perfectly eating with them since I were .... 13 ....

even my mom tries x) but she fails everytime xD
