That usually happens to me for the Random Thought thread. This bug existed before, where a new post was made but going to the thread won't show it. It was fixed for a while and now started happening to me again in the RT thread.

Ctrl +F5 may work. Personally I just go to the adress bar and change the last part of the address, last 0 of "start=_____" into a 5 and it works for some reason lol.

Hngh. Gotta check our bug fix for a bug fix...

The plugin is broken for this "current country of residence" field. It doesn't show the coutries anymore therefore we deactivate it. Fixing is already on the long to-do-list.

This would require additional requests to the database and strain the server even more thus we revert it back for the time being.

I see. But I didn't and don't use them. The PM I got, for example, was cut in the middle of a word. It was the last sentence. And the person that sent me the msg told me he was sure there were some more characters left.
The same happened with me. I thought it was a bug and came here to report.

You can write 2500 characters (including carriage returns/line breaks) but at the other site only the first 2465 are displayed. Meaning everything that exceeds 2465 character will be cut off. In other words: If you write 2500 characters the last 35 characters of your message won't be displayed to the recipient.

@tenshi+kari: Maybe the numbers are familiar to you. I've looked at the corresponding Private Message component in Joomla and couldn't find a setting that may be responsible for the cutting off the message. I tried to change character limit but for some reason or another if you reach the character limit the very last 35 characters are never displayed at the recipient's site. Maybe it has something to do with the message encryption.

@the others: Yeah, for the time being just keep in mind that once you reach 35 characters left everything after that is not displayed to the recipient. Sorry for the inconvenience we are working on that.

I just activated HTTP/2 (RFC 7540; at least the SPDY part) and header compression (RFC 7541) for our httpd and nginx servers. Please let us know if you encounter errors.

To see whether the site is delivered properly via SPDY, please use on of these extensions:

• Chrome Extension
• Firefox Extension

The extensions come handy if you are interested in seeing which sites utilise optimised protocols.

And yes, I am aware that we are currently not enforcing HSTS (as seen here ), but it is on my agenda.
