Benny I think its best if you can respect each others cultures. My girl watches Asian drama shows, anime etc, she loves that stuff. I'm pretty westernised myself, I've been living in Australia for 25 years. So it goes both ways.

And I wonder when Zhouyun says 'quiet girl' if he means a girl that doesn't fart!

P, outside of this site you won't find many girls know a thing about China right? Not to mention China is stand for "royal family" i live in aus for a little while now,everyone is expecting me to learn the Aussie way instead of "our"way.

Edit; sorry I lied, once or twice an Aussie girl did tried to learn our thing,but that just because we both influenced each other a little.

ofcourse i respect their local culture.
but for me personally i more prefer the girl like our culture.for example love kungfu or taiji or even chinese history.and interested learning manderin our language.of course will plan stay in china.other wise the the realtionship or marriage wont go very far
im different with most of you guys.most of you all grow up overseas since you young. speak flently english or other language.i come overseas only know thankyou and byebye.everything is start 0.
for me a.girl have interest is very important.and i love my city shanghai.all my best friends growup together still there.overseas friends for me not really is 'good' friends.
