Dealing with being Ghosted?

More

Ok, to cut the long story short. I meet a girl here. She and I clicked for about a few weeks. She then becomes very distant without any indication of disinterest. Also, the ghosting wasn't sudden. It was a gradual process through a lack of texts etc. Should I move on? And am I wrong to feel that it hurts?

Would love you guys' input on this, thanks :)

I´m sorry that happened to you. But don´t worry, you´re not alone, it happens to me for example all the time XDD sometimes it´s a slow process and other times it´s just no more contact at all within just minutes :S

I think you´re not wtong to feel the hurt, but you should move on nonetheless. Some People are just not worth it, there will be better humans in the future ;)

Interest dies out or they move on to someone new. That's just how fickle online shit has become. Online dating is like the ADHD of dating. Without real life interaction it's hard for progress. Yeah it hurts but it happens to everyone

Feel grateful for the experience and move on.
there are so many people to meet outside and when you least expect you will be there clicking with another person, that's how it is.

It happens on a regular basis to most People I think. I also think there's another thread about it somewhere.
I met someone on a different site a few weeks back. Totally hit it off, and did phone calls for hours and hours. Long story short. Out of the blue he Just stopped responding. I know he's alive and Well, cause I've seen him online. It's more like he's ignoring me.
I've lost count on how many times I've been ghosted lately. It's like I almost dont put any effort into talking to people online, 'cause I'm Just waiting for it to happen again.
Most of the time, they dont get to me, but that one, did sting a bit.

Just be prepared for it happening again. Because it Will.

Move on Dude! It doesn't take a lot of time to text and if she didn't have time for even that, she had lost interest! Learn something new, occupy yourself, keep yourself busy!

You are hurt talking to a woman a few weeks? Get out there and you can meet women in real life. Online dating is a crutch.

That happens often and not necessarily in a long distance relationship, it's the same as when you write and the other person is not kind enough to respond at least to tell you that they are not interested, I think it is part of empathy as a person .. You just have to move on, at some point the right person will come :)

Thanks for the responses guys! Obviously I should move on but, it seems like you guys are saying that I should just give up online dating entirely.

Hmm... Thing here is this tho, people whom you met IRL and have IRL interactions can also ghost you too
