Cover Art Contest
Hi guys,
We all know the two cover images on HA:
This image is hidden for guests.
This image is hidden for guests.
The female is depicted as a White blonde and blue eyed girl. These images don't reflect the vast majority of female users,e.g. Black, Mediterranean, Hispanic women, etc. who are currently registered on HA. By the same token, the guy doesn't reflect the male HA users either.
Since there are a lot of great artist on this site and because this is a community driven site, we thought it would be a cool idea to ask you to draw a new HA Cover Art that takes the diversity in our forum into account.
The rules:
- There are no rules. You are free to chose the style, the theme and how many art contribution you want to make as long as it's your original contribution and as long as they are aligned to the HA rules
- You can post your contributions by uploading here in this thread
Winner:
- The timeline is till the end of this year. After that you guys can vote for the best 5 contributions. Among them the admin/mod team will choose among the contributions a small set as the new cover art
- You can sign your drawings and we can link your profile, so everyone knows you are the creator, if you want.
- The top 5 contenders can get a special forum rank
- contributions by members of the mod/admin team will not be considered
- The winner(s) has to give hey-ai the right of use free of charge, without time limit and comprehensively or put it under a license that allows commercial use (yeah that sucks, but this is officially a commercial enterprise). If we later decide to do Merchandise the winner(s) can get a share, of course.
Note: thadeusz is taking a break, the contest is still going ahead as announced
