Hey-Ai Cover Art Contest - till 31st of December 2020

^_ In another of Thadeusz 's thread, some "artists" here replied that they wanted to get paid for their work. Maybe that can explain why.

no. because having something better to do and being skilled at something are two different things.

That could explain why you never donated although you're among the oldest member here. Even Benny-Zen has gone from leg-hair reseller to donator here.

think what you want from me. you already do anyway. if i was of the opinion that heyai people arent skilled enough (for me), i would say "heyai people arent skilled enough for me" instead of trying to twist my words and beat around the bush.

you asked for an explanation as to why people want to get paid for their work, i simply gave you an answer. nothing more, nothing less.

Who cares, if she donated or not? Are you really putting labels on members for their financial support or lack thereof now?
After all the donations this site has received, it’s still as outdated and slow as it was 11 years ago, just saying.

And regarding this thread’s topic: Maybe use a part of the donations to hire an artist, if you really feel the need to update the logo. Not that I think that’s necessary at all, as other things like how the site runs should have a higher priority right now, before you even think about updating the logo/ design of the site. The logo is certainly not the reason why there’s less and less active and or new members. But what do I know, right?

yikes. looks like i opened a can of worms.

i was thinking of posting something when i first saw this thread. only to troll though lol. im not an artist by any means but i still had a few ideas lurking in my head. didnt even think about being paid. thought the brief was quite specific on that.

having said that, im now honestly surprised there are so many sharp minds here lol. im so naive.
