What a strange place on the forum to propose a meet up.

Not a fan of London. Anywhere else and I'd be interested.

well, this was discussed several times before, London is just the easiest place to travel to... It wouldnt really make much sense to meet in the middle of nowhere in the english countryside...

Anyway, I think a small group of people did eventually meet up a while ago, but it turned out to be a bit of a fail according to some members that did go, so not sure if organising another one is a good idea.

Yeah, meet ups have historically resulted in *fail*. Are hey-aiers too shy to meet each other or something? I mean, it's not like there's a shortage of people from London.

I'd like to meet new people. If there is another meeting in the future that would be very nice.
PS: Basically, I love London too, it's so diverse.

oh deary me....i see there is yet again rumblings of another possible meet up in london........

i tried to make it to the last one, but, due to the fact it was held in a less than ideal place & time, i failed.

when i go to london, the west end has the cheapest & best value places to stay, the meet was in shoreditch & it was a sat night, when public transport is an absolute nightmare! i got there towards the end of free entry & the line was VERY long......i had no choice but to quit, as the Q would've taken almost an hour! it was stupid!

most of the people who said they would go, didn't even turn up!

it was a big waste of time & money for me mainly, as it costs me allot to travel in from ipswich way & a decent hotel alone costs almost £80 just for one night at the weekends! i would only risk going to another one IF i felt it was planned well & worth my time & effort.

i did originally suggest a meet up during the late afternoon/early evening time & at an easy (and parking friendly) area like the west end, just for a nice meal in a nice (jazz) bar/pub/cafe.....no shouting over loud music with drunk people......having a nice mingle & polite convos, like adults......but sadly it was ignored  lololol

I'd be up for a meet if it was in London.

I'd be up if it was in London and somewhere between 27th January and 9th February :)

I can understand your frustration. I would consider visiting London, even though I can't stand the place, but it is expensive. Shame a lot of the Londoners seem to think there's some sort of apocalyptic wasteland outside of their city and would never think of travelling somewhere else.
