Would people not even be willing to meet in Manchester? It seems as though a lot of people live up North, too.
In terms of accessibility, it's just as good as London. It's not as big and not as busy, so much easier to navigate and move around. There's plenty of great places to eat out and socialise too.

As far as organisation is concerned, I'm 100% willing to put forward an effort to help organise something once a place is decided. As long as it's advertised and promoted properly there should be a good response. There's almost 10,000 members on this site... at least a few people have got to see it! Places such as facebook would be a good way to advertise as well.

But yeah, maybe someone should start a poll to begin with to determine a place then after that, a date.

Okay guys, so for anyone who's interested, I've created a group on Facebook which will be solely dedicated to the arranging of a UK meetup! (Or more than one, if more than one place turns out to be popular!)

So I've made it a private group, but that's only solely because I ONLY want people in the group who are actually wanting to meet up.

It won't just be me arranging it, so I want lots of input from everyone to help make it a huge success!

I'd be interested if the meet up is in May, June, July or August

many ppl might be interested a friendly meeting sounds good get to know like minded ppl but if i go hopefully i will go with someone
