The Netflix series Derek with Ricky Gervais. Every episode is a tear jerker. It's a comedy as well one minute your laughing then the next your emptying a box of tissues..worth it though.

the movie Swing Kids is pretty awesome.
the ending where Peter is sent to the death camps was pretty remarkable because of how defiant he was with the Nazis, and you gotta love his friend coming back around and supporting him.

maybe my favorite scene in that film was when Peter realized how wonderful his dad was when he was still alive, before the Nazis came and took him to the camps as well. he was angry with his father for a long time, then he realized how wrong he was to hate him.

The scene in Interstellar where the dad is driving off to go into space, and the music is swelling, and he's tearing up, and he glances at his passenger seat where Murph was hiding the last time he was in the truck, but she's not there.

That was sad.

And in Dogani when the main character is holding a picture of the boy who killed himself, saying his name over and over, while the police break up their peaceful protest with brutality and hoses.
