Do you download music illegally?

I've heard the fine could be 200 000aud and maybe a 2 years of jail

Right, it is illegal. And the fine is insane but i guess that means you'd have to fine more than half the people in the world lol.

Musicians should not make money purely off something they had done years ago. And if they advocate fining their own fans, then they are no musician to support in the first place. Pirating music weaves out all the lame/fake/and not very talented artists because nobody enjoys them enough to actually support them by giving them money. Plus, not everyone has the money to buy as much music as they would like to listen to.

The more people have your music, the more it will be heard. The more that it is heard, the more fans you get. The more fans you get, then more people might buy your music. The more people are willing to buy your music, then the more people will see you live. They still win.

The only musicians that actually support fining people and putting their own fans into jail, are the ones that only care about money and not about letting people hear/enjoy their music.

I'm not saying everyone go pirate music, cause if you really like the artist then you should support them by buying their music or seeing them live whenever you can. They need to make money/eat too. But if you have already spent unreasonable amounts of money seeing them or buying their music, then they won't mind if you pirate a few albums because you can't wait to hear their new songs.

And why not? if they could legitimately fining every single person who download movies/musics illegally then i bet they would...

But they don't because teenagers and kids also download them a lot and it would ruin their lives...

Over here we sometime get street with no "speed signs" and instead we get "speed cameras" lol..Just by doing this they are making billions...

However, I will agree with MikeyC.

That is why a lot of Artists on Youtube don't sign with any Labels because they make money on YOUTUBE and from their fans buying their music because they support it. If they don't, they go to Youtube to watch it and listen... giving them views so they make money anyway. AND THEN! They don't have any rules and goals to meet that Labels set.

Then you have people like John Mayer and a few other artists who could careless if you download their music because they appreciate that you listen to them to begin with. The world is corrupted however, i will forever be a Pirate. BUAHAHAHA.

Well, just wonder if download from Youtube, is that consider as download music illegally?!
