Jack White from The White Stripes said he loved the childlike amateur drumming of his band member, and because she was not a professional or expert drummer, it added a sound or layer to their songs that gave them lots of charm. i found that quite interesting. it's always the newbies that bring something fresh to the scene. i don't know much about drumming, but he made me more curious about their songs when he said that.
