If you don't mind me asking, what is it that you want to study and what is it that your parents want you to study?

I am going to study Coiffure Design, while my parents want me to study ANYTHING but that, would be better if i studied programming or anything to do with IT. But that's not what i'm passionate about.

Is there a way to do both? Can you have your parents help pay for studies in IT while you study Coiffure Design on the side? Or, do what your parents want you to do for school, then when you get out, do whatever you want. At least you'll always have that degree to fall back on. I don't know you well enough to be so presumptuous, but I have a feeling your parents are already proud of you, they're just worried for you.

I'm not gonna be pushed around even if it's by my parents. I saw their mistakes, i saw my mom studying economics even if she didn't want it, and her diploma is standing unused right now, she's doing her favorite job that does not require a degree in economics, that means she wasted 4 years, i would need to waste at least 6 years in programming. I don't have that much time to waste. I'm gonna do what I want to do, not what they want me to do. I had decided that when I was still a kid.

By all means, do what you want, of course. I admire you in many ways. I have some other thoughts, but you never asked for my opinion and I don't want to hijack this thread, so I'll keep it to myself and wish you good luck! Just PM me if you want to talk more--or not. Whatevs.
