Uugggh must.. resist... interesting topic... I'm procrastinating... but oh well, as they say resistance is futile :P

Star Trek is such a unique show, there's nothing quite like it out there.

I've yet to watch the original series (only the 6 movies). My fave series is TNG without a doubt. Classic stuff and its spirit the truest and closest to the line "to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life & new civilisations" :) and it has my fave captain out of all the series, and "Darmok" just about the best episode ever.

I really like both DS9 and Voyager too, although DS9 has very few truly uplifting episodes and VOY has a lot of turkeys, its probably the weakest series out of the three.

And I also noticed nobody has yet talked about Enterprise.. *cough cough* and the less said about the opening theme song the better..

i like Star Trek Voyager the best, i think the voyager's crew was the most tight knit. The series introduce a whole new universe to the watchers, the delta quadrant with all its new races and "space anomalies" :) It would be hard to find a single episode of the series i didnt like.

Star Trek the next generation was also great, yet of different kind than Voyager. Jean-Luc Picard was more into diplomacy and humanitarian approach than captain Janeway, which was dictated by the solitude conditions of the crew put in the delta quadrant.

ST Deep Space Nine i liked since the war with the Dominium began

The least i enjoyed Star Trek Enterprise. Scott Bakula doesnt seem to me as the right person to play the captain, he was kinda too soft for this job especially as it was the era the federation was just being formed.

TNG one of the greatest television series of all time, imo.

DS9 good too.

I didn't care about Star Trek until the Abrams film. The sequel is going to be hardcore; Spock looks great in that black getup.
