Honey Boo Boo and similar creatures. What do you think of them?

To be honest, I love watching the show 'Toddlers and Tiaras' which is all about girls and pageants.

not because I like pageants but its hilarious how these mothers go crazy over these kids and festivals. I must admit I did learn a lot about how things work from this show and a little insight as to why mothers (and some fathers) do this do their kids.

at first I watched it because I thought it was ridiculous. but now I watch it for the creativeness and interest of how a childs mind works.

Some of these tiny kids have great personalities and shine on stage and they love it, even if they don't win. they have a lot of fun dancing and doing cartwheels or whatever they do.

What I've learnt are the following:

1. Most of the mums will stop if they see their kid is not enjoying it.

2. Most mums lose THOUSANDS of dollars of pageants. they rarely make money. Usually the Ultimate Grand Supreme winner only breaks even with what they win to what they spend on that pageant.

3. It does give kids confidence from an early age.

4. The judges usually look for personality and a child who has fun on stage over the most 'MADE UP' girl.

But these are only a few. the rest really is crazy and sometime just stupid. Most of the kids are spoiled and I want to put them in their place. Some mums don't know how to discipline and it makes me mad LOL

I hate the fact they wear so much make up and fake teeth and hair and mostly everything. If i had a child i would let her enter something lik this for fun but only if it was an ALL NATURAL pageant. I also hate the 'glitz' dresses...so ugly..haha js. HATE THEM! AND THOSE SOCKS OMG... yuck.

but all in all its good fun to watch
