But why does they think like this? (I'm asian, she would be never feel attracted to me).
Whatever, I like their ''How me met'' story. ^-^
Are racial preferences racist? Do people date outside their race because of stereotypes?
Well, you can't say ''It's 'cause of this and that''.
Example. I would date outside my race (asian guys) 'cause I like their look, behavior, culture, attitude and and and.
I don't think it's racist.
I think, we love the differences.
These are our preferences.

Asian men in general have that perception - that white women won't be interested or attracted to Asian men.

But I don't understand why.
Well and non asian girls think ''He would be never feel attracted to me''. This is why we wouldn't make the first step.

It's due to social perception (media) and cultural differences.

It's due to social perception (media) and "traditional" expectations.

It's not just Asian men....Asian women are the same way.
Every single time my kids call me mom in public around a friendly Asian women their first response is, "Stepmom??? You adopted???"
When I respond with "birth mother" I always get shocked looks, and the occasional stutter. I honestly find it a bit demeaning.....they assume there is no way I would find an Asian male attractive as a partner.....
It also happened a lot whenever my ex introduced me to new colleagues, and still happens when I'm out with Asian men....any Asian women around us just keep looking back and forth as if they can't process it....
I absolutely hate it because the implication is that they (Asian women) see little of value within the men of their own race.....

Uhh, that's evil. I wouldn't ask a non asian woman with an asian child ''Stepmom ?? Adopted??'' o.O
It's a little bit disrespectful.
Like I said.. I can't understand it. Why should we not ? It's really sad.

I've noticed the same thing, but more generally; when I'm out with an Asian man, especially shopping or doing domestic things, there seems to be a lot more shock and awe than is warranted.
