This whole phenomena of today's eclipse made me remember this amazing Italian film titled Farinelli. When moon completely covers the sun, King Phillips of Spain said "Is the entire earth a tomb? Bring back the sun Farinelli." Then Carlos "Farinelli" Broschi sings this beautiful song until eclipse ends as if it was his singing that brought the sun back.

176 years ago from today, Czech composer Antonín Dvořák was born. Here's one of my favorite piece by Dvořák which I will post as my tribute to him.

I need to go back and listen to some of Wagner's operas again. I think Parisfal is the best opera by Wagner that I've heard so far.
