What are you watching now?

watching more of The View. i have fallen behind by two weeks now. 10 shows in total.

the spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised lol

i'm not watching it now but i remember the movie The Good Son where a young boy's cousin was a little serial killer in the making. what kind of movies was i watching when i was little?! well, i found it fascinating at the time because i was going through my own emotional storms. but, yeah, the good one (of those two boys) was the only star of the film, if you will. the cinematography in that one was also good.

it was awesome because i remember the anticipation of seeing two "powerhouse" actors creating something really strong. they were just kids at the time, but i could feel/sense how good they were going to be. even the silences between the two of them didn't disappoint. i actually don't remember being blown away by Macaulay Culkin's acting, but i liked the "implied" moments.

wow, i'm so happy he is suing them. we'll have to wait and see what happens. they should be exposed for what they're doing. he has a right to protest.



it's so sad what this country has come to. at least people are fighting back. i'm glad he has his lawyers to do most(?) of the fighting for him.

*edit: oh the comment section says it's not a contract but rather a grievance has been filed under the NFL's labor contract. whatever is going on, i hope he wins.

The orangutan used sign language while being in webcam with the girl telling her that peanut butter made from palm oil is destroying her habitat.

i'm reminded of Cameron Diaz's performance in Any Given Sunday. even though she played a bad/controlling boss, she was very good at showing someone in charge. i always hoped that would be the turning point for her to play more roles like that, stronger personalities, but it never happened. to me, it showed that she was a good actor.

i remember the scene in the movie A Christmas Story where the dad is trying to find an extra spot at the electrical outlet to plug in the christmas tree lights and he can't find one because there are more than 20(?) cords there. and when he barely touches them, an electric spark happens, lol, which means a fire could start at any minue because there are so many cords. it's the funniest thing i've ever seen. and he STILL decides to use that same outlet.

the writer of that is so funny. he's making a comedic commentary on how people use one outlet to plug up too many cords. i'll try to post the clip if i can find it. it only lasts for a few seconds, but it's a great scene.
